To establish a policy for issuing refunds in the event of photocopier, printer, vending machine, or Hobo Dough load station malfunctions.
Due to the limited cash on hand, the library does not give refunds from its cash drawer. The library will correct printing and copying errors due to library equipment failures by reprinting or recopying for the patron using a library department card. The library will refer patrons to Card Services (688-6943, University Student Union 140) for vending machine or Hobo Dough load station refunds.
Note that Card Services does not have a written refund policy for the vending or load machines.
The Bindery Processing Guidelines for Student Publications policy includes information on refunding Bindery fees. This policy is an internal document and may be requested from library personnel.
The Head of Public Services or designee is responsible for implementation, enforcement, and ad hoc review of this policy and annual review of procedures. The Policy and Procedures Committee is responsible for review of this document every four years. The Dean of the library is responsible for review and approval of this policy and associated revisions.
