Records of individual borrowing, searching activity, or reference questions must not be revealed to anyone outside of the library staff except when compelled by a search warrant, court order, or subpoena. All spaces in the library are subject to search upon official legal request.

The Dean of the Library or designee is responsible for implementation and ad hoc review of this policy and annual review of procedures. The Policy and Procedures Committee is responsible for review of this document every four years. The Dean of the library is responsible for implementation and enforcement of this policy.
