You can make a compressed copy of your library and save it in various locations.

• With your EndNote library open, click on the File menu.
• Click on Compress Library (enlx)...
• Choose which options you prefer from the dialog box.
  • You can create and save a backup or create and e-mail the backup.
  • You can include or exclude all the file attachments - this includes pdf files of the articles, figures, etc.
  • Backup all the references in your library, references you selected, or all the references in a group or group set.
• Click Next.
• If you chose "Create," determine where to save the file and click save.

You can make a copy of your library or move it from one place to another easily. The key is to move both the library file and folder together.

• Choose your library file (My EndNote Library.enl) and your library folder (My EndNote Library.data)
• Copy and paste them or drag and drop them to another location
