We have a department card in a blue folder/notebook at the Circ Desk. It can be used to reprint jobs for patrons when our equipment fails to print properly or to print for patrons who do not have Hobo Dough. They will pay for their prints at the cash register.

Papercut charges more for larger-sized paper. It costs $.79 per page for the large format in color—11 X 17" paper. Black and white printing on A4 sized paper will cost $.10 per page.

Occasionally, student log into the print release stations in order to submit their print jobs to the printers. This might cause the login/lock screen to appear although Scott has fixed it so that it should appear only very rarely. However, when it does happen, we need to log in with the library login so that the print release login screen comes up. To do this, ctrl + alt + delete will not work on those stations. Use ctrl + windows key + delete, and you will be able to hit “enter” to log it in with the library login.

E-mail from the KIC scanner may show up in the patron's junk mail folder instead of their In Box. The sender is 'KIC Automatic' and the subject line is "Images from KIC Station."

Some government documents that look like normal PDF files might not print correctly. You might get a message implying that you need to update Adobe. Or the print preview might have some missing text. If you notice anything odd about a PDF when you try to print it, download the file first, then print it. Once it is downloaded, go into Adobe Reader or Acrobat and open the file from within the program. You should then be able to print.
