Loading books on the Kindle

Kindles are currently compatible with Project Gutenberg books and anything that is published as a pdf. MyiLibrary, CRCnetBASE, and National Academies Press publish their books or parts of their books as pdf files that can be loaded onto the Kindle. Other publishers such as the U.S. Government also publish pdf files.
