Chemistry / Biochemistry: Find Books

To find print books and e-books, use the library catalog. You can search the library catalog by using the search in the blue box on the library's homepage.

Tips for Searching:

• Search by title or keyword. If you know the exact book you need, type in its title and search. If you need books about a certain topic, but aren't sure of a title, search by keyword. 
• Use the search filters on the left hand side of the search page. Once you have done a search, you will see a list of results--often a LOT of results! To get what you need, use the filters on the left hand side. For example, you can click "Source Type" and then "Books" to just see books.
• Ask for help. Librarians can help you know what books you need and help you find them. Use the library chat at the bottom or side of most library pages or contact your subject librarian for help.

Need a book that Briggs doesn't have? Try Interlibrary Loan (ILL)! Go to the Briggs Library homepage and click on 'Interlibrary Loan" in the blue box. Log in with your full SDSU email and password. Click "Create Request," and then "Book." Make sure to submit your request when you are done.
