Subject Guides

• Spell out the full name of the department or college the guide is for
• Add "Research Guide" at the end

Course Guides

• Use the official abbreviation for the department, a space, and the course number
  • What to do for cross-listed courses?
• You may add the instructor's last name if you need it to distinguish between two guides for the same course (e.g. Engl 201 Flynn)
• Add "Research Guide" at the end

Other Guides

• Use a name descriptive of the content
  • E.g. Common Read 2016 or EndNote
• You do not need to use "Research Guide" at the end when it isn't a research guide
