Accessing Briggs and Wegner Resources

Students and faculty in the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions have access to all of Briggs Library’s resources, as well as many resources through the Wegner Health Sciences Library in Sioux Falls.

Logging in to Briggs (Off-Campus) and Wegner

To access online resources, login to both Briggs and Wegner using your full email (firstname.lastname@jacks.sdstate.edu) and password.

Having trouble logging in? Try:

  • double-checking your email and password combination (make sure you have the full email)
  • using a different browser (for example, use Chrome instead of Safari)
  • clearing your cache (directions here for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox)
  • restarting your computer

If these options don’t work, contact Aine via email (aine.oconnor@sdstate.edu) or phone (605-688-5955) M-F 8AM-5PM. Outside of those hours, call the library at 605-688-5107 or email blref@sdstate.edu.

How can a librarian help you?

Librarians help you plan, complete, and share your research. SDSU's Respiratory Care librarian, Aine O'Connor, is always thrilled to work with you! Contact a librarian and/or set up an appointment if:

  • You are beginning work on a literature review, systematic review, or grant proposal requiring background research
  • You are having any trouble finding articles or other resources in library databases, Google Scholar, or other search engines
  • You need to track down statistics, citations, or other "tricky" information
  • You want guidance on how to share your research with a wider audience
  • You need a helping hand and research ally!
