Looking for a specific journal? Run a preliminary search in Quick Search on the library's home page (for example type in start). Once you have a results list click on the FIND A JOURNAL option which is located towards the top of the page. Enter the title of the newspaper, magazine, or journal to find out whether the library has access in print or online and the dates of our coverage.

Professional Organizations

Professional organizations usually host Web sites and may also publish press releases, trade journals, or scholarly publications.

To identify professional organizations:

Ask your advisor or instructor for for recommendations.
Consult Briggs Library research guides in the subject area. They may list professional organizations.
Do a Web search.
Ask a librarian.

Evaluating Information

The entries include the publication name, the frequency of publication, the year the title began publication, the publisher name and address, subscription and ordering information, and more. Many entries include reviews or table of contents for several years of publication.
