This database makes searchable the copyright renewal records received by the US Copyright Office between 1950 and 1992 for books published in the US between 1923 and 1963. Note that the database includes ONLY US Class A (book) renewals.

Creative Commons allows composers and musicians to define how their music can be used by others. This site searches for music that is licensed through the Creative Commons.

One of the options at the bottom allows you to specify the type of license you need.

Artists who have put made their recordings available through Creative Commons licenses can be found and music downloaded on this site.

Artists can sign up to have albums included on NoiseTrade. They do accept donations (or tips) if you like an album. You are required to give your e-mail address and zip code for each album you download.
