Newspaper and Magazine Sources

Newspaper and magazine articles are great sources for information on what people knew when an event first happened, as well as interviews with experts and witnesses and follow-up articles. Briggs Library has several newspaper databases that you can search. Try using the date filter to find articles from certain points of time.

Peer-Reviewed Articles

Peer-reviewed articles are sources written by researchers and academics about experiments they've conducted. Because they take longer to write and edit, most articles about an event will not be published until a year or more after that event has happened. Many of the databases Briggs Library provides contain peer-reviewed articles.
