Insufficient Citation: Using or paraphrasing a work and attempting to say where the words and/or ideas came from but incorrectly.
Misrepresentation of Common Knowledge: Believing something is common knowledge and not citing it when it is not commonly known.
Cite any quotations in your paper. Cite any time you paraphrase something. Cite where you got ideas. Cite correctly. Cite if you are not sure if you need one or not.
