Although Briggs Library has an extensive collection of ebooks and journals, you may need some items that are not available at Briggs Library.
Request them through our ILLiad Interlibrary Loan service.
We fill article and book-chapter requests electronically. Physical loans will be delivered by mail or as e-books whenever possible.

If you have Interlibrary Loan materials that are due or overdue, you may return them to one of the book drops at Briggs Library. Book drops are located inside the front doors of the library and outdoors in a blue metal box near the northeast corner of the building. If you want to renew the items, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 605-688-5573.

When you receive email notification that your ILLiad article or loan has been delivered, read the message carefully for instructions on how to retrieve the article or where to get your loan.

Renewing items may take several days while we wait for the lending library to respond to the request. Your due date will change in your library account when the renewal is granted.
If the lending library does not grant us a renewal on the item, we will send a recall request by email asking you to bring the item back.
