When you receive email notification that your ILLiad article or loan has been delivered, read the message carefully for instructions on how to retrieve the article or where to get your loan.

  • Be sure to save articles from ILLiad onto your computer or USB drive.
    • Articles in the ILLiad system are deleted after 30 days of posting.

How do I renew my interlibrary loan books?

Log into your ILL Account.

From the menu on the left, click on View/Renew Checked Out Items

Click on the transaction number next to the book you want to request a renewal on.

Click on Renew Item above the record for that item

Renewing items may take several days as we need to request the renewal from the lending library and they need to respond to the request. Your due date will change in the ILL system when the renewal is granted. You will not get an e-mail when this is done so check your ILLiad account after a few days.

If the lending library does not grant us a renewal on the item, we will e-mail a recall request asking you to bring the item back.
