How do I pay my fines?

Where do I pay my fines?

Library fines, bindery fees, and other charges can be paid at the Library Services Desk on the main level of Briggs Library or mailed to the Briggs Library Circulation Dept, 1300 N Campus Dr, South Dakota State University, Brookings, SD 57007-1098.

Library fines that have been posted to your student account must be paid to the Cashier's Office.

Can I use a credit card to pay my fines?

No, but you may use cash, check, or Hobo Dough to pay your library fines. The Cashier's Office does, however, take credit cards.

What happens if I don't pay my fines?

If not paid within 30 days of billing, library charges are turned over to the Cashier's Office to be added to your total bill for SDSU courses and services.
